Are you interested in supporting programming and funding for human services in Fairfax County? Are you interested in connecting with fellow service providers and people working together and volunteering in the human service arena? Please consider joining us and becoming a member of the Fairfax County Alliance for Human Services (AHS)!

In a typical year, annual dues to be a member of AHS is $5. We are waiving this fee for the FY24 year.

Since 1991, AHS has supported effective integrated programs, promoted
increased access to services, advocated for constructive change, and highlighted the need for a true Human Services System—public and private. Because we want to enhance the capacity of service providers to deliver effective services and to enhance public/private coordination and collaboration, we helped develop and continue to support the Consolidated Community Funding Pool.

AHS has been the leading advocacy group that brings together consumers, providers and advocates of human services across the entire human service spectrum (from individual health care to community affordable housing). Broad-based, non-partisan, and deeply
grounded in Fairfax County, we help public and private decision-makers, including the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, understand how various public and private programs interact; sometimes harmoniously, sometimes less so.

Our members represent non-profit agencies, civic groups, professional groups, unions, religious congregations, business, banking, public employees, users of human services and others. We join our many voices in shared support of all human services in Fairfax County. We look forward to working with you on these efforts and future initiatives aimed at building and sustaining our Human Services System.
